Jun 16, 2026

Ron Wood, former factory Honda mechanic/technician. Now owner of Tokyo Mods. Ross Maeda Enzo suspension. David Pingree former Factory Professional Motocross racer & now Whiskey Throttle. Rob Healy N-Style and Powerlift electric Motorcycle stand by Matrix. All four of us have known each other for 35 plus years. All of us grew up witnessing the majority of the 55 years of the 70 years of Yamaha history. Here is what we did to create an enhanced version of the 70th anniversary 450 YZ. Tokyo Mods did all the hands-on work and assembly of the bike. Furthermore they used a Vortex Ignition and their unique mapping. Also Tokyo Mods ported and polished the Cylinder head. Ross at Enzo did high end suspension work with Kashima coatings & DLC coatings on the forks & Shock. He valued and sprung the suspension for Rob Healy Vet / senior rider 195lb. Ross put all the extras available to achieve the best possible suspension for Rob. Here is the list of what all went into this particular build.
