Remember that Race Spec video we shot about upgrading your Triumph TF250X? If you haven’t seen it, it’s linked down below. Basically with this build, we went through and did all those upgrades to our Triumph and tested it to see how it held up on the west coast! Also linked below are all the parts we threw on.
Our guy, Jeff Beaver bought and built this sick 2005 Honda CRF450R. (Fitting since we just posted our review of the 2025, go watch it.) The idea was to make what most would see as the ultimate weekend warrior’s bike, a do-it-all machine. We think this bike came out sweet and we hope you guys do too!
After wadding up at DITD, Daron Rahlves sent us his KTM450 and we teamed up with a few rad companies to build him this sick ride, which he’ll be racing at Mammoth! Thanks to all the rad companies that helped us out.

When we rolled up to Utah for the final round of the 2024 Supercross season, we cruised out to Mountain West MX Park to check out Kris Papworth’s incredible CR500.
Greg Hitchko brought us this incredible SplitFire/ProCircuit/Kawasaki KX250 Two Stroke that he spent quite a long time building. Outfitted with incredible PC carbon parts that took him time to track down and even a seat cover that was RC’s seat from 1999!
Jay Clark put together this mean sounding 2024 Yamaha YZ250f. Jay built what he believed to be an ideal but reasonable yz250f. Usable power with a little more breathing out of this already great platform. Check out the video for more details!
