After having watched your 2 part show featuring David Vuillemin, I feel compelled to comment.
I’m a 64yr old who still races MX and rides as often as possible. I’ve never liked French riders or the country as I’ve never felt the French have given America the respect we deserve after saving their ass in 2 world wars. Despite this animosity, I have a new attitude after watching your 2-part show with DV.
I have watched the Whiskey Throttle shows since the the show inception. The show with DV is undoubtedly the best to date! DV showed a whole new side of himself that was candid, interesting and humorous. His recall of detail around his career was amazing.
I almost didn’t watch this show because of my dislike of all things French. That would have been a big mistake as this was most entertaining. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention your skill as an interviewer. Not only did you do your homework by having all of DV’s stats at your fingertips, you executed what I feel is one of the most important skills of an interviewer which is to let the guest talk uninterrupted! Your skillset as interviewer has moved to next level. Congratulation! You also recognized that this needed to be an extended interview due to DV’s enormous amount of interesting content.
I’ve never given my feedback to any podcast/show before, but felt it is most deserved after what I watched!
