This week Ping is joined by of the true pioneers of motocross in the US Gunnar Lindstrom started out racing in the 60’s in Sweden and soon became an engineer at Husqvarna. After coming to the US as to race he was one of the top guys in the new AMA National series. He started his own successful aftermarket company the the Gunnar Gasser throttle housing and later became the Team Manager for Honda HRC. He’s seen all the advancements in our sport from introduction of the mono shock to disc brakes to 4 strokes. His memory is fantastic and his enthusiasm for the sport hasn’t diminished, sit back and enjoy one of the best history lessons on Motocross ever!

    Hi Ping, Gunnars story was too short! Man, I bet that guy could have gone on forever. I would like to have heard more from him about riders and the stories that went with them. I think you might need to get him back in the near future for a rewind show, pun intended. Plus you could maybe have him sit in on a new show and give his perspective of the event upcoming or going away.
